Joma-style is a revolutionary-designed plow blade that consists of tungsten carbide inserts, steel segments, and a rubber shell. Tungsten carbide inserts are brazed into steel segments and then encased in the rubber shell. Joma-style cutting edges feature a significantly extended lifespan, excellent performance, more wear-resistant, less vibration, and less noise. They need fewer blade changes, thus reducing costs, downtime, and maintenance.
SCT produces premium and consistent quality Joma-style cutting edges, featuring an excellent balance of abrasion resistance and impact protection. Joma-style blade will reduce the damage to highway lane markings. Unlike a rigid steel blade, the Joma-style will form to the contour of the road. In doing so it cleans the road surface more effectively and therefore may require less salt or sand to be applied.
